Pillow

Soft and quiet, is my pillow
In its softness, I wallow
All through the night, we cuddle and sleep
Even when I am in slumber deep

With arms around, its close to my heart
Its so small, I don't know where to start
It never complains if I pull it tight
Never have we been in a fight

Sweet little thing, it never has any expectation
I just wish it were great in conversation
It looks so pretty, with all the flowers
I wish I could stare at it for hours

I come and go, whenever I want
And still it would never taunt
Never has it any expectation
As if I were its only infatuation

This is dedicated to my pillow, which has faithfully seen me through many a night!
